HOW IT WORKS
Please visit this page for future updates or changes to the launch date. Havoc on The 101 will be available for AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint mobile subscribers.
RATES
You will be charged premium rates every time you send a CHAT message or vote for a video. Sending a CHAT message costs US $0.99 and Voting costs US $0.49. All other messages are charged the standard rate of your respective mobile carriers + other charges that may apply specific to your mobile carrier.
You may be cut-off by your carrier after a certain number of text messages each month. This varies by carrier.
Sprint, Nextel & Boost customers are eligible for an unlimited monthly Chat subscription, but not per message billing for Chat. Monthly subscription is $4.99 per month.
REGISTRATION
Before you can send TV messages or vote for your favorite video, you first have to register. Do this by texting REG - space - and then your desired screen name to 55101. Your screen name can be up to 10-characters and should only be composed of numbers or letters (no spaces or special characters allowed).
This nickname will appear at the heading of your message when it appears on-screen. If you choose not to supply a screen name, the system will automatically assign a random numeric user ID for you or post your name as "anonymous."
The name assigned to you may change for a variety of reasons. If there is a similar name (e.g. John), then you will be assigned a name like John78. Names will also be filtered/edited later depending on the name you choose. Names that are vulgar or inappropriate for TV display will be changed or removed, and a numeric name will be assigned. Havoc on The 101 reserves the right to edit / change the names selected / assigned at any time.
To register, text REG [screen name] to 55101.
Example:

You will then get a text message asking you to confirm whether you really want to continue registering for Havoc on The 101.
Sample Return Message:
Havoc101 rates: $0.99/TV msg, $0.49/vote. Other charges may apply. Txt Y to accept rates & terms or STOP to opt out, to 55101. Terms: havoctv.com, m.havoctv.com
To confirm, just text Y to 55101.
You will then get a confirmation message stating the nickname assigned to you.

That's it! You're ready to send TV messages and Vote for your favorite videos.
ON-SCREEN CHAT MESSAGES
You can send a message that will appear on TV in a scrolling message display by using the Chat keyword. Just text C - space - and then your message to 55101. You will be charged US $0.99 per TV message that you send.
To send a chat message, text C [message] to 55101.

C Hello there. That last video rocks!
C Anybody out there like pizza as much as I do?
C Congratulations to the Main Street High School basketball team for winning the championship!
You will receive a confirmation message.
Sample Return Message:
Your message has been received. Messages will be filtered/edited for TV display. A charge of $0.99 will appear on your carrier bill. Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE: VerizonWireless subscribers will need to text Y to 55101 to confirm TV message. You will then get a confirmation that your message was received.
Remember to keep your messages fit for general reading - these messages will appear to a wide range of viewers. Messages sent will be queued for approval and editing. Moderators will either approve, disapprove, or edit your message so that the message will be appropriate for TV display. Havoc on The 101 reserves the right to disallow or edit any content it may receive. Furthermore, repetitive violators will be banned permanently from the system.
Should we receive too many messages to be screened over the course of a single block, moderators will post messages warning viewers to stop texting, to ensure that no one's message is left out. This will usually be near the end of the program. Be aware that Havoc on The 101 will not be able to guarantee that your message will appear on TV if you send your TV message before or after these notices.

VOTING FOR VIDEOS
You can vote for the next video you want played by texting V - space - and then the video code to 55101. Video Codes are a four-digit number that appears next to the title of every video. You will be charged US $0.49 for every vote you send.
To vote for a video, text V [video code] to 55101.

You will receive a confirmation message.
Sample Return Message:
Your vote has been received. A charge of $0.49 will appear on your carrier bill. Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE: VerizonWireless subscribers will need to text Y to 55101 to confirm vote. You will then get a confirmation that your vote was received.
Every few minutes, a list of the current Top-10 most voted-for videos and their respective codes will appear in the chat message column on the left side of the screen. Additionally, a Top-3 list will appear at the bottom of the screen at regular intervals. The next video to be played will be the one with the current highest vote.
If you do not provide a video code, then your vote will be given to the current video being played.
HELP
Texting HELP to 55101 will give you a help message stating the costs and a link to this page.
For assistance, text HELP TO 55101.

STOPPING THE SERVICE/OPTING OUT
To opt out of the Havoc Chat service, just text STOP to 55101. You will then be unregistered (i.e. your assigned screen name will be available for others to use) and a confirmation message will be sent to you stating that you have discontinued the service and no further charges will be made for the service.
To terminate service, text STOP to 55101.
